Derek has been building Android apps since the wild west days of Android Gingerbread 7 years ago. He’s been in companies of all shapes and sizes, from small startups to large multinationals like HubSpot. He has also co-founded an app development company of his own in the past.

At Sched, Derek is dedicated to empowering attendees to get the most out of their event experiences. For event organizers, he wants to give them the best tools they need in order to achieve this.

When not building apps, Derek likes to enjoy tennis, video games, and nature.
