Sched allows you to rename the default role sections—like Speakers, Artists, Sponsors, Exhibitors, and Attendees – to better match your event’s terminology. You can do this directly from any of the relevant tabs in your event’s Control Panel.
Steps to Rename a Section
1. Navigate to Any Role Tab
In the Control Panel sidebar, click on the tab for the role you want to rename. This could be: Speaker, Sponsors, Attendees, and Other roles like Artists or Exhibitors
2. Click the Plus (+) Button
In the top-right corner of the page, click the “+” button (normally used to add a new person or entry).
3. Click “Rename”
Enter your preferred label for that section (e.g., change “Speakers” to “Panelists”).
4. Save Your Changes
The section name will be updated across your event site and schedules.
