Preview Signage #
You can preview how your signage will look directly from your event dashboard before displaying it at your event.
- Open your event dashboard.
- Click Device Preview.
- Select Signage.
This opens your event’s signage page so you can review it before going live.
Open Signage on a Display #
To show signage during your event, open a browser on the device connected to your display and go to:
https://[URLname].sched.com/signage/
Example:
https://demo2025.sched.com/signage/
You can also click Open Signage from your event dashboard to get the direct link, then copy and paste it onto your display device.
The signage page works on:
- TVs and flat-screen monitors
- Projectors
- Tablets and iPads
- Computers connected to an external display
What You’ll See on the Display #
Each session card shows the session name, time, date, and venue.
When you filter by a specific venue, the venue name moves to the top of the screen instead of appearing on each card. When the show today only is on, the date works the same way — it appears at the top and is removed from the individual cards.
Adjust Signage Settings #
Click the settings icon in the top corner of the signage page to open the display settings.
| Setting | What it does |
|---|---|
| Venue | Show sessions for a specific venue only, or show all venues |
| Sessions per slide | Set how many sessions appear on each slide |
| Slide delay (seconds) | Choose how long each slide stays on screen before rotating |
| Show today only | Display only sessions scheduled for the current day |
| Hide concluded sessions | Remove sessions from the display after they end. When turned on, you can also set a persistence duration — the number of minutes a session stays visible after it has ended before being removed. For example, setting this to 30 means a session that ends at 1:00 PM will still show on the display until 1:30 PM. |
| Dark theme | Switch the display to dark mode |
| 24-hour format | Show session times using a 24-hour clock |
Notes:
Too many sessions per slide. If too many sessions appear on a slide, some content may extend beyond the screen. Reduce the number of sessions per slide in the settings if this happens.
Device timezone: The signage display uses the timezone of the device running the screen. Make sure the device’s timezone matches your event’s timezone to avoid sessions appearing at the wrong times.
Running Multiple Displays #
Once you’ve set up your signage the way you want it, copy the URL from your browser and paste it onto your other display devices. All your settings are saved in the URL, so every screen will be configured the same way without having to set each one up individually.
How the Signage Display Works #
Sessions are grouped into slides. The display automatically rotates between them based on the slide delay you set. This allows your full schedule to be shown in a clear, easy-to-read format — even from a distance.
The signage also automatically pulls in changes to your schedule, so any updates you make will be reflected on the display without any extra steps.
